LSD #2

Love, Sex, & Dating
(LSD)

At the last FCA meeting, the guys went with lady leaders and the girls went with the guys leaders to ask any questions about love, sex, and dating. There were some great questions answered in both groups and we all had a great time.

This week there were more guys than girls so the guys did get to eat Mrs. Reasland's brownies.

We will wrap up this series on LSD next week with the guys leaders talking with the guys and the girls going back with the lady leaders.

See ya then!

Last Week at FCA

Love, Sex, and Dating
(LSD)

This is probably our most intense challenge delivered to us this year at FCA.

Last Wednesday, the girls and the guys split up into two groups with their leaders (male leaders went with the guys and female leaders went with the ladies) to talk about God's approach to love, sex and dating and ask anonymous questions related to LS&D.

Next week, we will swap leaders but remain in the same groups to ask the opposite gender leaders any questions about LS&D.

We would strongly encourage you to come next week. (whichever gender has more attendants will get a plate of Mrs. Reasland's famous brownies)

See you guys next week!

Opening Ceremony and Day 1 of the FCA Olympics

After creating our team names, flags, and bandannas, we all gathered in the arena. We watched the Opening Ceremony and then the first event was announced. We were given bed sheets to as "chariots" and one person pulled the other while the other lay on the bed sheet. This was a very competitive game and hopefully this pictures give you a better understanding of what happened.

Pella FCA Can Drive

Pella FCA drove around Pella asking people for their empty cans. We used the proceeds to support a young wrestler from Sloan-Westwood who was in a car crash and is paralyzed from the neck down. Our prayer was that God would multiply the cans we had collected in order that we might bless that family. 14,000 cans later there was no mistake it was a God send. WOW is our God good!
