2nd semester of FCA!!!

Tonight we all worshiped the Lord together and then we went and played a competitive, fun game of capture the flag in the arena at Vermeer Pavilion.
We split up into four different teams; then, we split up onto separate courts. (two teams to one court( Then began our first round, after the first games were done, Mr. Reasland asked us if we fell into one of the four categories listed below.

1. The Fence sitters (these team members were the players who frolicked around the boundary line and acted like they were going to sprint to get the flag, but they never do)

2. The Care-Free Players (these teammates would run across to get the flag, but when they realized they were going to get tagged, they just gave up and didn't care)

3. The Fakers (The "Faker" players were the players who stood right by the boundary line and pretended like at any moment, they sprint and retrieve the flag. Really though, they never even cross the line; they only pretend like they are a threat)

4. The Flag Guards (these teammates were the kind of player that stood way back, away from the border line, and guarded the flag)

After this challenge, Mr. Reasland asked to play the last round as a different type of team member that what we played as in the first game.

The idea was to get us all out of "comfort zones" and act. Mr. Reasland talked about how we can have these types of Christians as well and that we should get out of our comfort zones and live up to the standards that God has set for us.

Mr. Reasland and the entire FCA leadership are really excited about the new semester and all the new and exciting things that we are going to do.

(We will hopefully have a poll going soon for which songs we would like the worship team to play which will be really neat. Drew Nelson has also asked everyone to pray about high school students leading worship for FCA)
